Greatest
Wonder
©2011
Gibbens/Weston
I was up on the hill and the sun was going down
Beyond the mountain and over the sea,
And it was clear the maker was loving
Who desired these things to be.
Down Harbour View
as I was walking
Where the sea was clear and the sky was deep,
From an open door came the sound of laughter
And I was home on that strangers street.
As I looked in to
the greatest wonder
On Harbour View coming right for me,
From an open door came the sound of voices,
Of voices singing of things to be.
On the midnight hill
we go together,
Put our eyes to all the wonder.
Right beside you stands another,
There stands another close by me.
Did you ever look
into the depth of another being?
Did you connect and understand?
Right beside you is the greatest wonder.
Right beside you there stands another.
